CRYOGENIC SOLUTIONS.

Cold. When and where you need it.

Across diverse, high-risk, and innovative industries, our clients across the globe work in the challenge of continuous and cost-effective supply of liquid Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Air.

The challenge, of course, is maintaining supply without being in control of the production or supply chain, let alone the cost implications and potential risks involved with distribution delays. That’s where AFCryocoolers are in a class of their own.

By supplying self-contained, contamination-free, safe, reliable onsite Hydrogen Liquefaction, oxygen, and Air production, our clients can now take charge of what once was out of their control.

Innovation in Action.
Rare Earth Magnets.

We provided expertise in constructing a 20,000A Roebel cable magnet insert to test high-current carrying superconducting cable in a 20 Tesla field to determine properties for superfield magnet development at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, U.S. The insert required high tolerance copper and carbon composite materials machining as a single unit.

Green Hydrogen.

Helping us all reach bold emission reduction targets with the new Green Hydrogen Production System to provide a cheaper and more reliable way of generating green hydrogen from renewable sources for refueling transport, generating power, and industrial use.

The revolutionary system splits water into high-purity hydrogen and medical-grade oxygen without the polymer membrane used in common electrolysers.

Exploring Mars.

NASA chose the AFCryocooler technology for use on the MARS Lander project. NASA chose the system for its ability to operate autonomously, remotely, and reliably for a significant timeframe – an obvious prerequisite for a cryocooler going to Mars. The current unit in use with NASA is one of several AFCryocoolers that Fabrum will supply NASA for this project.

Global Innovators.
What makes us different.

The South Island of New Zealand is known for its stunning beauty and harsh climatic conditions. It is home to some of the most brilliant and stubborn engineering minds globally. That these two elements exist in the same place is no coincidence.

Fabrum was founded in 2004 and is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, with a clear mission to precision engineer better outcomes through technological excellence whilst leaving the lightest footprint possible and providing a pathway for future generations of engineers to continue that mission.

Meet the FOUNDERS.
Here’s the team that creates one of the best Liquid Nitrogen Systems and provides world-leading solutions in engineering and cryogenic technology.
